I’ve been listening to “Spend It All” by Bow Thayer pretty much non-stop since I picked it up a few weeks ago. Bow is an amazing songwriter and musician in his own right. For this album he teams up with Levon Helm of The Band and a handful of legends of the Boston area folk-rock scene.

As an attempt at full disclosure, I know Bow from my Boston days when I lived with a bunch of musicians in the local Boston folk-rock scene. So my review of the music might be a little biased, because it has the secondary result of reminding me of those free-wheeling Boston days.
